SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL RULES

1.1 We provide scenic flights, aerial experiences and charter services, under CNPJ: 17.224.381/0001-95 and in partnership with Air Charter companies, duly registered and approved. We operate at the Olympic Golf Course and Jacarepaguá Airport. Our base address: Av. Ayrton Senna 2541, Jacarepaguá Airport - Rua D2 Hangar 14 - Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The type of service, Air Charter company, aircraft used, and/or place of boarding/landing, are subject to change, according to availability and/or safety reasons;

1.2 The aircrafts used are normally R44, R66, Jet Ranger and Airbus AS350. There may be changes according to requests, availability and/or number of passengers, without prior notice;

1.3 We operate mainly private flights, where the final price will be equivalent to the totality of all seats, not individual per seat. On a shared flight the value of the flight is divided among all passengers. In the case of cancellations of 1 or more passengers and there are no substitutes, the flight may be cancelled, or there will be a higher charge per person;

1.4 The weight limit is approximately 130 kilos per seat. We take off with a different number of passengers per aircraft, respecting the take-off weight limit of each aircraft;

1.5 Children up to 2 years old can travel in the lap of those responsible, keeping the weight limit per seat of up to 130 kilos, with 1 lap child per flight allowed;

1.6 For your comfort and safety, inform up to 24 hours before the flight if the reservation will have a child (up to 2 years old) and/or passengers over 130 kilos;

1.7 In order to guarantee your flight reservation, a deposit may be requested. Cancellation of reservations up to 24 hours before the flight time will receive a full refund (minus bank and wire transfer fees, if applicable). After this period there will be no refund

1.8 Announced or informed prices are subject to change without notice;

1.9 All flight times are approximate, and start counting from the start-up to the cut-off of the aircraft;

1.10 The informed routes include the places flown over or seen during the flight. The places flown over or the sequence of the itinerary may change without previous notice, respecting the safety conditions and guidelines of the Air Traffic Control;

1.11 At any time, for meteorological or security reasons, we may have to cancel, reschedule, change a route or duration of a booked flight, without prior notice. Changes, cancellations or take-off delays may occur for reasons beyond our control, such as weather conditions, restrictions on the use of the runways or closure of the airport for a certain period of time, unscheduled maintenance, delays in fuelling, excess air traffic and problems with a passenger, pilot or crew. In this case, there will be the option to cancel or reschedule a new date/time;

1.12 The flight check-in must be at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time, with an original document with photo;

1.13 It is strictly forbidden to smoke on board and/or place or throw any objects or substances outside the aircraft;

1.14 It is not permitted to board dangerous goods, such as: Weapons and weapon replicas; sharp objects (scissors, pocket knife, corkscrew, razor etc.), narcotics, toxic, explosive or flammable substances (aerosols, lighter fluid, etc.);

1.15 The Pilot in command may deny boarding to persons he believes to be compromising flight safety, whether or not they consumed alcohol or are under the influence of any substance;

1.16 If you need special assistance, it is necessary to inform Rio Helicopters at least 72 hours in advance in order to guarantee the best service;

1.17 Minors under 18 years of age only board with their parents or legal guardian;

1.18 The Pilot in command may request a seat change among passengers. For your safety, it is necessary to listen and follow the Pilot's instructions, before and during the flight;

1.19 Only disembark from the aircraft with the Pilot's authorization;

1.20 We are not responsible for valuables or goods of any kind left in the Hangar or at the aircraft;

1.21 The tolerance for delays is of 10 minutes from the scheduled departure time. After this, your flight may be rescheduled according to availability and without guarantee that it will occur on the same day;

1.22 Rio Helicopters reserves the right to change aircraft or Air Charter operator at any time and without prior notice, if necessary, for operational reasons;

1.23 After making a reservation it is important to keep in touch with us. In case of change of cell phone or e-mail, please inform us. Always check and reply to our messages. Close to the date of your flight, we will contact you to reconfirm the flight and send you important information. Failure to communicate with us before your flight may lead to the cancellation of your reservation in the system.

2. SCENIC FLIGHTS

2.1 Take-off and landings are from The olympic Golf Course or Jacarepaguá Airport (Av. Ayrton Senna 2541 - Rua D2 Hangar 14 - Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro), with changes only for operational or security reasons;

2.2 For flights with 5 pax or more, larger aircrafts are not guaranteed, and a 3 or 4-seat aircraft may be used to do 2 or more flights;

Payment for the flight must always be made before take-off. We accept Pix (bank transfers), cash, debit and credit cards in our Hangar or via link (online) subject to approval and bank fees;

2.4 Flights purchased in advance are valid for 30 days. After this period, Rio Helicopters does not guarantee the cost will be the same, and there may be additional payment, or cancellation of the purchase with a refund of 90% of the amount paid. We charge 10% of the amount paid in administrative fees;

2.5 To pay less, you can request a seat on a shared flight with other people. Shared flights are subject to availability and longer waiting time. In the case of cancellations of 1 or more passengers on shared flights and there are no substitutes, the flight may be cancelled, or there will be a higher charge per person. A specific seat can be requested but is not guaranteed, the Pilot in command may request a seat change between passengers and at the time of the flight.

3. THEME FLIGHTS, CHARTER, TRANSFERS AND EVENTS

3.1 Our prices refer to the aircraft rental and are calculated based on the total flight time of the aircraft, the distance to be covered and the maximum cruising speed of the contracted aircraft;

3.2 The minimum Charter contract is for 60 min flight;

3.3 The place, date and time of take-off and landings will be made according to the client's request, availability and contract, and according to the Air Traffic Control permissions;

3.4 There will be a tolerance of 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time. After this time, 70% of the flight hourly charge will be charged per additional waiting hour;

3.5 Payment for the contracted flight must be made with 70% paid at the time of booking and 30% at the time of boarding. We accept payments in cash, debit cards and credit cards, observing the rates and fees informed in the contract;

3.6 Our charter flight price list does not include a landing fee. This amount may be exempt, or vary according to location and date, and can be paid directly by the customer or informed upon request;

3.7 Taking off or Landing at the destination will be conditioned to operational safety conditions;

3.8 The permitted luggage will be according to the number of passengers and hired aircraft;

3.9 Transportation, food and beverage, decoration, flowers, photographic and filming services are outsourced services. Every effort will be made to perform the services and deliver the products, with Rio Helicopters being responsible only for intermediating the service, without control or responsibility for the final result. If there is any failure in outsourced services, such as non-delivery, non-attendance, failure of photography or filming equipment, beyond our control and only noticeable at the time or after the service is performed, the amount paid will be refunded in proportion to the loss incurred, up to the limit of the amount paid;

3.10 When, during the tour with Rio Helicopters, images are recorded, the contracting party authorises it to be used on its website, social networks and other online and offline tools. If this is not your wish, Rio Helicopters must be informed in writing (e-mail or whatsapp).
